Inspired by training in the best studios in LA, New York and Europe, Shake was founded in 2003 by Artistic Director Rachel King on one simple idea - to bring the very best street dance training to the South Coast. With this aim at the forefront of all they do as well as making sure their dancers have lots of fun Shake has seen huge success.

Since 2003 Shake have had the privilege of performing at some of the UK's biggest venues including for 10,000 people at Wembley Arena, for royalty at St James Palace, with Diversity on their arena tour as well as to sold out audiences at The London Palladium, 02 Arena and The Royal Albert Hall.

Shake have appeared on Got To Dance, Alesha Dixon's Street Dance Stars, Daybreak, BBC news and featured in music videos and films including the 2013 release 'All Stars'. Shake have won the UK Street Dance Championships on several occasions giving them the honour of representing the UK in European and World championships in Germany, Amsterdam and Denmark. In 2009 and 2010 Shake won the UDO World Street Dance Championships.

Now celebrating their 10th year Shake continues to go from strength to strength welcoming new members to their classes and offering them unrivalled training and performance opportunities.

Shake offer an exciting, fun programme of street dance classes open to all ages and levels. They bring London's top professional choreographers to Shake every week to make sure all of the dancers receive genuine street dance training of the very highest quality. Their classes are always fun, with a great atmosphere, inspiring dancers to reach their full potential. 

Their unrivalled team of expert teachers bring a wealth of knowledge, energy and passion that inspires everyone training at Shake. As well as weekly classes Shake run regular workshops with some of the biggest names in street dance from around the world, previous guest teachers include Poreotics from Los Angeles, winners of MTV's America's Best Dance Crew and Diversity, winners of Britain's Got Talent.

Through training at Shake dancers are offered incredible opportunities to perform and compete, including the chance to be part of their hugely successful crews.
